[Remix/Soundtrack] RAC – If You Forget Me ft. Liset Alea (Blue Satellite Remix)

if-you-forget-me
We’ve been really excited to finally be able bring you this news and the fruitful gifts that come with it. Talented dj/producer Andre Allen Anjos, better known as RAC, was recently signed to compose the score for upcoming film, HOLY ROLLERS. Aside from the fact that he is releasing the electronically melodic 9-track score today (to which all music ninja readers will get a discount!) RAC is also releasing If You Forget Me’ featuring Liset Alea as a single including remixes by Gigamesh, True Blue and Blue Satellite. “This song was written for a very specific scene, a turning point, a moment of great excitement and enlightenment”, RAC explain “It’s generally me doing the remixing and it was great to be on the other side and have somebody alter one of my own songs”.

Blue Satellite not only gave RAC’s creation a pair of comfortable dance shoes, but dressed it up in a vibrant electronic dress that is bound to turn heads.

[Soundtrack] Chuck Season 3 Episode 15 Songs: Versus The Role Models Songs

While I usually enjoy more than just one song watching the TV Show series Chuck, I have to admit that yesterdays Soundtrack of Episode 15 of Season 3: Chuck Versus The Role Models did not feature that many obscure, indie, incredibly amazing songs…. all except for of course.. the calming song, “Sans Soleil” from Swedish band Miike Snow as the episode was closing.

Miike Snow – Sans Soleil

Season 3 has been home of many great independent music but unfortunately this new episode not only lacked action and humor but fresh music selection as well. Nonethelesss I cant get too carried away as I simply watch Chuck to enjoy a couple of laughs as I unwind on a Monday Evening.

For those of you that go crazy if I dont post the entire soundtrack from last nights episode here it is:

Giussepe Verdi – Rigoletto: La Donna E Mobile (Act III)
Barry White – I’m Gonna Love You Just a Little More, Baby

Chuck Versus The Honeymooners soundtrack music

Chuck Season 3 Episode 14 soundtrack starts off with the refreshingly melodic, upbeat song from American indie rock band Vampire Weekend titled Holiday from their latest album Contra released this year.

I am sure you guys can recognize the song that Lester and Jeffrey were playing at Chucks sisters goodbye party… yup it is Leaving On A Jet Plane by John Denver.

The song playing while Chuck & Sarah explain why they are quitting being spies is by Shout Out Louds, an indie rock band from Stockholm, Sweden, with their pop/rock song Four by Four.

Although it was subtlety playing in the background, the song that was playing when Chuck & Sarah agree to remain spies is by
The Polyphonic Spree, a self-described “choral symphonic rock” group from the Dallas, Texas with the song “Section 9 (Light & Day (Reach For The Sun))”

[Soundtrack] Chuck Season 3 Episode 13: vs The Other Guy Songs

chuck-season-3-soundtrack-episode-13-vs-the-other-guy

CRAZY EPISODE! On the thirteenth episode of Season three, Chuck is out to save Sarah from Shaw, who at this point we can assume he is “The other guy”.

At times it feels like the tv series has a lot of filler episodes where nothing really goes on and everything is much of the same. However, this episodes completely changes the direction of the season and closes the story arch of what has been developing since the introduction to super agent Shaw.

Chuck season 3 soundtrack has been strong since the very beginning and music in Episode 13 Vs The Other Guy is no exception. The recognizable song that was playing in the background when Shaw reveals to Sarah that she is in fact the one who murdered his wife, is “Kettering” by Brooklyn based indie rock band The Antlers. Their self-released album Hospice generated a lot of positive reviews in 2009 and even found its way onto Top 10 Albums of 2009 lists (NPR Music placed the album in the #1 position for their Top 10 of 2009 list).

The Antlers – Kettering

And the more cheerful song at the end of the episode as Chuck and Sarah are about to *spoiler alert* comes from the Canadian indie-rock band Plants and Animals titled “Bye Bye Bye”. Plants and Animals was nominated for a 2009 Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year.
