Welcome to the dojo for another first listen with a premiere from Hood Rich. From our friends at Fool’s Gold Records comes an official remix by the Queensland producer of “Lover” originally by Tommy Trash and A-Trak with Jesse Boykins III. Although the track is due out on the Group Chat Remixes EP, we’ve come together to give you an early listen to this bumpin’ cut a day early.

Hood Rich gets deep and dirty with this fresh take on “Lover.” House and tech heads are in for a real treat with this one as it’s smooth grooves are just what clubs and festivals are desiring. The original single was a bit more upbeat, with an electro edge to it that Hood Rich trades for a darker tone. Overall it makes for a solid remix with a sound completely different than the original. Hood Rich made it his own while doing justice to the original tenfold.

One person who – we would guess – agrees with that is JNTHN STEIN, whose single “Everything Is A Drug” is here today in the dojo.

The thoughtful, intriguing talent met up with us ninjas yet again after our enlightening interview with him to give you a first listen to his new song. “Everything Is A Drug” is a magical record that exemplifies a true mastery of music. JNTHN respects the creative process and that’s something you can hear in this cool record. It starts out quite chill but as things progress the production gets a bit more playful and energetic. It’s just a great song and we’re honored to have the pleasure of giving you the first listen to it today!

The Los Angeles producer partnered up with Quality Goods Records for the EP, but Music Ninja for the premiere. Get ready, this one is steamin’ right out of the oven.

“Hollow” is beyond fantastic. It comes out of left-field with enough swagger to melt the entire bass scene in an instant. With so many producers trying to be like other producers, it’s extremely refreshing to hear someone doing something different – and even a bit weird in the best way possible. sumthin sumthin has a catalog that is impressive, yet small, but he’s growing it in a big way with this EP and specifically with “Hollow.” Enjoy the single early, as the full EP isn’t out until the 28th; however you can get your copy through digital services.

One of our favorite producers has something special for you. Technically, us ninjas AND VenessaMichaels have something special for you in today’s premiere. Enter the dojo for a first listen to the LA producer’s flip of “Humble” originally by the one and only Kendrick Lamar.

Released today as a free download, this remix is just what you need to keep the party going after Coachella into the coming Summer months. Festivals everywhere are aching for tunes like this with a little mainstream skeleton wrapped up in some jaw-dropping underground skin. Fans all across the world can jam to this hybrid single, whose dynamic sound will grab hold of bodies and get them shaking. We always want more jackLNDN. The – you guessed it – London producer has a nearly endless catalog of amazing records and he adds yet another through the Ultra imprint today. “Never Get Enough” comes to you first, right here in the dojo for a special premiere.

This record gets funky quick with a cool, classy tone whose infectious sound will take over your body in a hurry. “Never Get Enough” is easily one of our favorite jackLNDN tunes, which shows us that he’s not slowing down one bit. Although this record is certainly a deep house cut, the crossover sound makes this reachable to anyone who likes a groovy, catchy record, so basically anybody. Get ready for some good vibes from Amsterdam’s own Palm Trees. Not only do you get to hear the new single “You Were The One,” but you get to hear it first in the dojo. In this premiere you get a Summer-stricken poppy house record that is going to stick in your mind and live for the next several days, if not longer.

Pop has managed to invade so many electronic genres lately, but with “You Were The One” it feels like a natural combination. Palm Trees provides an introduction that feels 100% organic and only by surprise do we get lifted into an electronic setting with soft grooves that still are centered around an acoustic sound. It’s a cool mix of several styles and sounds melded into one song that we’ve been hype on ever since it slid into the dojo. Enjoy a first listen to “You Were The One” today!

All of the ninjas get excited every time we premiere something. Sometimes a song comes along that we get even more riled up for and that is happening today. In this TMN Premiere we’re showcasing one of Australia’s hottest talents, the basshead Sippy who took on a remix of “RA” by SLUMBERJACK.

Innovative, lively and heavy as hell, Sippy’s flip of “RA” is too fresh not to love. She pays enough homage to the original so you make the connection, but for the most part the song is all her own. With festival season here, producers are bringing out their big guns, but here we have a behemoth of bass whose quality and immeasurable size can’t be denied. It’s just a magnificent piece of electronic music, plain and simple; a remix done right. Sippy swayed us and now she’s landed one of our favorite premieres of the year so far.
