One premiere wasn’t enough for today, so we’ve got another one for you from the New Hampshire rapper J-Wright. His single “Talk” off the independently released Blacklight EP has come with its own music video. We’ve got it for you first here in the dojo!

“Talk” is a haunting record, with a beat that’s both shadowed and ominous. J-Wright comes in with the heat throwing his attention to the haters and naysayers. Despite its dark sound, the song is quite inspiring. With the music video J-Wright takes the lead and performs us “Talk” through two different setting sequences that jump back and forth. We’re starting off Friday with something special for you from Restless Modern. His new song “Haunted” is premiering right now in the dojo, making you one of its first listeners. This is the young artist’s best track to date in our opinion.

Restless Modern has already swayed us with his previous work, but this song is just insane. It’s a ride, not simply a song. The dynamic production takes you through various sounds, unexpected at times, but everything works seamlessly together and the vocal cut for “Haunted” is phenomenal. If you’re into dance music, then the name Nadia Ali should instantly catch your eye. She’s collaborated on big hits, but is now kicking things up in a different direction with a new project. We’re proud to present HYLLS and the premiere of her debut single “All Over The Place.”

HYLLS is not going to be exactly what you’re used to from Nadia, otherwise this would be released under that project. No, HYLLS is Nadia’s exploration of sound, taking her to new territories like “All Over The Place” did. With this debut single she cooked up a soulful pop jam that we couldn’t pass up. Fatboy Slim, an iconic name in the producing world is taking on some of Australia’s finest with Fatboy Slim vs Australia, a remix album releasing on Skint/BMG. Artists featured on the album include LO’99, The Kite String Tangle, Set Mo, Carmada, Sam La More, Northlane, and the duo we bring you tonight: The Aston Shuffle.

“Fatboy Slim is one of those names that is so legendary, you’d be mad not to say yes if the opportunity arose to work on something he is a part of. It was so great to be able to remix one of his songs, we hope we did the song justice!”

The Australian duo introduce us to their darker side with late night feel compared to the slightly lighter original. Around the 3:30 minute mark we’re introduced to even darker bass cuts, a sound that certainly deserves a spot on a track list for those after-hour events.
