[Trap] Wilsonn – Touched

Not only did Wilsonn recently drop a new single, but also a mixtape. We have both for you today, the first being “Touched” and the second being the twenty three minute “Idiocentric” mix. Together they serve as a one-two punch from Wilsonn to end your day well.

“Touched” is a twerk-centric trap tune that isn’t just all about getting booties shaking. The song does have an emotional edge to it, fusing sounds together that you wouldn’t necessarily think to go together, but Wilsonn makes it work. With his mix, Wilsonn flipped some of his favorite producers’ works and packed them all together in one impressive mix. It may be short, but it’s not all about length, right? *cue giggles*

[Trap/Future] DJ MUSTARD – DON’T BOX ME Vol. 1

DJ Mustard is well known for his memorable hip-hop beats, but that’s not all he’s capable of. It’s pretty obvious given his name that he can DJ, but as far as producing goes, DJ Mustard isn’t just here to make hip-hop. In fact, today we’re sharing with you a remix EP that sees him diving into electronic music.

In all honesty, once you produce hip-hop, making the switch to dance music isn’t all that hard, but writing great electronic music isn’t easy. With DON’T BOX ME Vol. 1, DJ Mustard did just that though with three remixes of tracks by Lil Uzi Vert, Childish Gambino and Khalid. With hints of trap and future, these tracks are anything but your usual DJ Mustard sounds. Stream them today and if you get a chance to check out DJ Mustard live, do it. In all likelihood you’ll be hearing these jams IRL!

Nato Feelz – Moonwalk [TMN Premiere]

Nato Feelz
Moonwalk [Bass Ammunition]

“Moonwalk” by Nato Feelz is a treasure. It’s a treat best served up on a solid sound system with the speakers turned way up so that your neighbors, depending on their musical tastes, will either love you completely or hate you with everything they’ve got. Today you get a first listen to “Moonwalk” right here in the dojo, so get those speakers ready.

Nato Feelz describes his sound as “Beats that make ya head nod” and that’s just what we get with this single. No “EDM” build up needed, just a quick introduction that slams you right into the heat of things. [Trap] Styles&Complete – Run Cities feat. Waka Flocka

Styles&Complete ⛽️⛽️
Run Cities ft. Waka Flocka

If you see Waka Flocka involved in a project, then you know the turn up is real. If you see that Styles&Complete are involved as well, like with “Run Cities” on Buygore, then you have no chance of escaping the madness. All you can do is prepare yourself for a whole lot of raw energy that will blow you away.

“Run Cities” is a ferocious trap tune that is one of our favorite Waka Flocka crossover collaborations yet. The concept of this song is pretty straightforward, those involved in its creation will run your city and after listening through this song once you see why. It takes hold with a certain swagger that only Waka and company can express. With all the Summer singles that are coming out, this is near the top as far as bass music is concerned. Want a copy? It’s out now on digital platforms.

[Trap] UZ – Layers LP

Two insane things just happened last Friday. One, UZ dropped an album. Two, UZ revealed his identity. No it’s not Skrillex or Diplo, or anyone else you might have thought, unless you thought it was the 2x world champion DJ TROUBL.

Now that you know the trap lord UZ is the French DJ champion, we can move on to his LP Layers that dropped on his label Quality Goods Records. This project is major, running twelve songs deep with collaborators including Two Fresh, Elliphant, Axel Boy, Oski, Craze, QUIX and so many more. This collection is some of the best work by UZ, a guy who has been putting out music for years now. Some trap guys can’t seem to keep things fresh as time passes, but UZ really took it to the next level. Before you check out the LP, read through why UZ decided to reveal himself below.

“The anonymity was fun when I started it 5 years ago, but now I feel like there’s too many masked artists and it really has become more of a gimmick than a message. Our motto at the time was to let the music speak by itself and not focus on the artist. It’s still true, but now that I’m a curator and I’m working full-time on my label Quality Goods Records, I need to make myself heard, talk to people face to face, etc.… Also people need to know where I’ve come from and where I’m going – right here, right now. It’s just the beginning of a whole new journey for me and I’m really excited about it.”
– UZ
