Take a nice big deep breathe. We’re at our 250th volume of our Friday Party Playlist. Over the years it has been lead by various writers, each bring a host of free downloads each week to give you for the weekend. SCRVP goes ham on his latest original. Hard as a motherf….. well you get the picture. It’s not the energy that SCRVP brings, but the raw tone he expresses with the single that makes it so incredible. MMXVAC released “Helix” to the world, so if you’d like a copy you can visit digital stores.

“Helix” is a menacing melodic composition whose minimal nature adds to its memorability. It comes in at just over three minutes with the majority of that time being spent with some unique samples pounding away at your ear drum. You feel their presence with each attack as they pierce through the speakers. Ominous phrases encompass the chorus, dividing into the intro, middle and end of the track to mix up the soundscape. Overall “Helix” is what one might call “dope af.”

If you follow our Friday Party playlist, then you’re well aware of how Crankdat likes to turn things up. He’s been one of the best remixers of the past several years, grabbing some of the hottest tracks and making them even hotter. He’s just done that again with his official remix for Matoma and MAGIC!’s “Girl At Coachella” featuring D.R.A.M..

With this remix, we get a heavy dose of hybrid bass. Crankdat straddles the line between trap and dubstep with his savage re-imagining of the soft-skinned pop single. Now, “Girl At Coachella” has an edge it never would have gotten from the original creators. Want a copy of his remix? Get it on the digital store of your choice today. Crankdat will soon be releasing his first solo original single as well, so prepare yourself for that however you need to.

The DEUX Twins are back releasing music and we’re here to give you a first listen in the dojo. In honor of their return, they’ve released a free download of their remix of “Congratulations” by Post Malone. You’ll be sure to hear this in their sets this Summer, including their highly anticipated set at HARD this Summer.

If you haven’t heard “Congratulations” then you must have been abducted by aliens or lived out in the wilderness. DEUX Twins started with a hit and ended with a hit. Their melodic remix is even more memorable than the original, with a catchy drop that isn’t going to be leaving your brain anytime soon. As we said previously, you’ll be hearing this in their sets, but don’t expect it to be listenable solely through them, as many DJs are likely to be hopping on this heater in a hurry. HU₵₵I’s label VEYRON ARCHE has some of the hottest trap sounds you are going to find. Their latest release lives up to the prestige of the rest of the imprint’s catalog. “Wrath” from HOUNDS and SENOJNAYR is that track. Innovative, dirty and mind-bending, the song can be (somewhat) summed up by the following comment on Soundcloud: “Trapped in a dark alley while too much acid kicks in slowly.”

“Wrath” feels like two songs when you listen all the way through. HOUNDS and SENOJNAYR take you on a trip, first throwing you into a more traditional trapstyle tale and then into a more cerebral expression that comes quite unexpectedly. It’s this fusing of two distinct sounds that makes “Wrath” so spectacular. Each piece could have superb songs on their own, but these two producers didn’t let up and brought both fires together. “Wrath” is currently available on digital stores for those who want a copy.
