[Music Video] Xavier White x Paul Couture – Bad Blood

One of my personal favorite R&B tracks from this year is “Bad Blood.” Xavier White and Paul Couture dropped this one back in July, and now they have a music video to supplement the song.

We thought things couldn’t get any better, but they do. It only fits that one of the dopest songs gets one of the dopest music videos. From the song and video, there’s certainly some influence from Drake in it, which isn’t a bad thing in this case. Xavier keeps cool with his own unique style and sound, that’s much darker than his mainstream counterpart. One of the things that the song had that really was interesting was its slow-motion feel; which is expressed to a tee in the video. All around, this is kick ass. If you haven’t grabbed the free download yet, do it.

[Music Video] ENV – Your Love feat. Little Nikki

Earlier this week ENV dished out a single through Uprise Music. “Your Love” featuring Little Nikki was the tune, but it’s not just the tune we’re going to be talking about today. In conjunction with the audio, the crew put together a fun little music video.

“Your Love” is a spunky club record whose deep, groovy vibes will get your body shaking. It’s a strong melodic record that both parties involved did an amazing job with. As for the music video, it’s equally as lively as the tune. The viewer gets taken on a wild ride through a carnival, as well as a rave as the relationship between a couple unfolds. Bright lights, lots of cuts and exciting imagery, this is one solid video. It has a lot of elements that other videos have, but they managed to keep it fresh and alluring.

[Music Video] Revoke – Don’t Leave the Light On (feat. Tom Cantillon)

When an artist branches out, it’s a great thing. Some fans don’t like it, but even if they don’t make something exceptional, we can at least appreciate their desire for growth and creative adventure. Luckily, when Revoke chilled things out with his new single “Don’t Leave the Light On,” he created yet another amazing record that we love. Not only that, but we get a music video for it!

“Don’t Leave the Light On” is a total diversion for Revoke. It’s more of an indie record than a dance one, which is totally fine by us. Tom Cantillon did an incredible job with his vocal performance, pushing this one over the top. The music video is a straightforward juxtaposition of imagery between a relationship at different stages. We see innocent kids together playing, as well as their adult counterparts. Enjoy the video today, and head over to iTunes for a copy of the single.

[Music Video] Luna Shadows – Hallelujah California

Luna Shadows has quickly become one of California’s prized possessions. In a short amount of time, she’s gained a lot of traction for her crossover style and unique brand. Her imagery may be in black and white, but her creations are just the opposite; full of life and color.

On July 1st, her Birthday, she released her debut EP, Summertime. One of the lead singles off the project was “Hallelujah California,” which now has its own music video. The imagery within this piece is a fascinating collection of visuals from around her Southern California home. She keeps within her aesthetic, which until now we have only experienced in photographs. Now that it has been unleashed in video form, the experience the viewer has is moving. Luna Shadows is a true artist that is able to not only entertain, but to really play with your emotions. We have huge love for her, as well as the other individuals who helped on this project, including the Ride or Cry Collective, Production Club and many more. Watch the video today and hit up iTunes for the full EP.

[Music Video] SHIVV – Vande Mataram Feat. Viraj Bahri

SHIVV
Vande Mataram Ft Viraj Bahri

Did you know that India has a new age National song? Well, now you do. SHIVV, an artist some Americans were introduced to on the main stage at Ultra, created the single “Vande Mataram” featuring Viraj Bahri that has made so much noise in the artist’s home country that people are starting to take serious notice elsewhere.

“Vande Mataram” has been the National Song of India for some time, but now it’s gotten an update by SHIVV who brings the single into contemporary times with a strong melodic makeover. It must have been a daunting task, attempting to re-imagine such a powerful song, but not only does SHIVV do that; he created a music video for the song to celebrate the continued independence of India. “Vande Mataram” can be translated to “long live the mother[land” or “I bow down to thee, Mother.” SHIVV and Viraj really did a tremendous job getting this project together, and the result is something that can live on to represent their home country with style and grace. Check out the music video below, and head over to iTunes if you would like a copy of the song.

[Music Video] LARCY – Thinkin, Drinkin

As if we didn’t love LARCY enough for her work, she does something that blows our minds. Recently she put out a music video for her single “Thinkin, Drinkin” that will be a part of her upcoming EP. This isn’t just any music video, as there are some recognizable themes present. Oh yea, and she put it together all herself.

The video for “Thinkin, Drinkin” centers around lost love. The video, which is entirely comprised of Snapchat cuts, is supremely intimate, as though you are a friend of these two. LARCY is featured in the video, alongside a male counterpart, and we as an audience get to see their relationship’s past, and the results of its demise. Many of us have been through this situation, so it’s going to hit close to home. If you don’t get at least worked up a little bit, you might want to see a doctor. “Thinkin, Drinkin” is an emotional single, and in conjunction with the music video, it is doubly so. Watch it today and prepare yourself for LARCY’s upcoming EP!

[Music Video] KickRaux & Ras Kwame feat. Ayo Jay, Demarco, Doctor & Tyga – Feelin U

If we told you right now that a big record was here, then we’d only be telling half the truth. The full truth is that a big record has come, as well as an even bigger video. The song? “Feelin U.” The artists? KickRaux and Ras Kwame. Those two didn’t do it alone though, as they enlisted features from Ayo Jay, Demarco, Doctor and Tyga for this hit.

With an ensemble like you have behind “Feelin U” you know you are getting a special tune. The moombahton/dancehall single comes at a time when a lot of top tier musicians/producers are leaning towards this style. Those tracks are good, but when you get a record from those who do it best, the others are put to shame. KickRaux and company have been killing it for a long while, and after coming together, the result is something extraordinary. It doesn’t stop at the song, as the video is equally as cool. Because this is a love song, we get to see the search for a companion in an interesting way. Let’s just say, if you are a fan of Pokemon – more specifically Pokemon Go – then you are going to really enjoy this one.
