I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING! DJ Fresh? Gold Dust? Is this going to be another lame remix of one of the most overplayed and remixed songs of the last 18 months or so. The answer will simply surprise you. Not everything associated to Gold Dust has to be over the top dubstep dirty and London’s “Mashup Turntablist DJ” Jimi Needles proves that by giving us a groovy track that is sure to calm down your Monday morning. Using “Something About Us” by Daft Punk as a foundation, he masterfully layers vocals of “Gold Dust” and it all comes together so beautifully. A surprising find and if you are into mash ups, there is more where that came from on Jimi’s Soundcloud.
