The Scientists, the second single from Coldplay’s A Rush of Blood to the Head is one of the most memorable ballads of the 2000s. Technically, the song is no breeze to sing either, as trying to match Chris Martin soft voice and falsetto throughout the song (and especially in the outro) is a feat not a lot of artist have the balls to try. Well, we sure now know where Mike Posner‘s big cojones are, as he didn’t just sing an acoustic cover but produced an aggressive electronic take on the song that although modernized feels very true to the original.
Through conversations we have had with Posner we know he is a huge electro/dubstep fan and this is a genre we would love for him to keep exploring. What you guys think?
