London producer Benga is unquestionably one of the godfathers of dubstep. When he was only 15 years old he was already releasing singles on the first dubstep label, Big Apple and clubbing in his hometown of Croydon where the first dubstep night called Forward>> began. Along with his childhood friend, Skream, Benga has put dubstep on the map with a string of singles strait from the heart of the UK. At 24 he is a seasoned veteran of the scene with an Afro big enough to prove it.
