There are few things that we get excited about more than bringing you fresh, unheard-of artists. Looking at a soundcloud play counter under 100 gets us licking our chops, and that’s exactly what we have for you this evening.
Hailing from Houston, Texas, this up-and-coming producer has quickly shown us that it’s not just the stars at night that are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas. In “Chainwax,” which was just released seventeen days ago, Stvrchvsr lays it all out for us. Is it melodic? Yes, it resembles Seven Lions, at times. Is it hard as fuck? Yep, in fact we can’t help but think of UK dubstep bass barons like SKisM. Is it well produced? Quite. Whoever mixed and mastered this tune knew what they were doing.
While we don’t have much information beyond this, we do know this: Stvrchvsr is here to stay. This kid has a bright future in front of him, and we’re god damn tickled pink to have brought you the first glimpse at this absolute monster of a track.
