German dance duo Digitalism is dropping a new album in June – I Love You, Dude – and has teamed up with The Strokes lead singer Julian Casablancas for this track below. Julian’s new-wave solo projects make him a perfect fit for Digitalism’s indietronica feel.
This latest release, Forrest Gump, has a classic Digitalism electro driven bassline. With it’s dancy tempo and catchy guitar riff, the track has a really great sound to it. And the drumming style reminds you a little bit of the Killers, right? While Casablancas doesn’t sing on the track, he helped in writing it. Either way, it’s going to be a summer favorite.
