Colorful and contagious, “Possession” is the track to loop when you need a good jump-start this afternoon. The Vancouver-based duo Humans, who have opened for acts like Grimes and Porter Robinson, marry the uppity beats and bright synths of electronica with such solid pop arrangements. Their atmospheric sound, coupled with random quirky bits here and there, call to mind a more bubbly, straightforward version of Animal Collective or Yeasayer. “Possession” is like candy and should be gobbled up as such.
