Dancing Room
For over a year, we’ve been touting Australian industrial/tech/deep/electro crossover duo Human Movement as an act to diligently keep your eye on, and for good reason. From their inception, Human Movement have constantly delivered a darkly unique approach to club-music; fusing sonic bits of proper deep-house, techno, industrial and electro with the kind of measured precision of an act we’d have expected to have been around the game for decades. While we haven’t heard much since their remix of Whitney Fierce’s “The Night Air”, the pair have been busily toiling away towards a complete audio/visual concept, and have come storming back to the pages of TMN with both a fresh stomper, “Dancing Room”, and its accompanying visual piece (featured below). “Dancing Room” leans on heavy, metallurgic builds and pristine rolling bass to create a tune that pulls us directly to the dancefloor in the heaviest and most primal of ways, while its video counterpart flawlessly compliments the tune’s dusky ambience. We’re hoping this most recent Human Movement resurgence is permanent, as we’ve never been able to get enough of their heavy, earworming take on dance music.
Enjoy “Dancing Room” as a pure single above, or check it out with its accompanying imagery below; but either way, do yourself a solid and listen regardless.
