French electronic legends Air are set to drop their next record, ‘Le Voyage Dans La Lune’ (‘The Voyage In The Moon‘) early next year. Judging by ‘Seven Stars’, a collaboration with Victoria Legrand of Beach House, it’s going to be a fascinating homage to George Melies’ film of the same name. ‘Seven Stars’ is a wondrous combination of slow-burning electronics and Legrand’s hazy vocals, creating a hypnotic effect that demands repeated listening. ‘Le Voyage Dans La Lune’ is released on February 6 2012, and we can’t wait.
