If there was ever a voice and an album that was made to be remixed (despite being great in its original form), it’s got to be Ellie Goulding’s Lights. We’ve been enjoying all kinds of great remixes of both “Under the Sheets” and “Starry Eyed” for months now, but with the release of the “Guns and Horses” single, we’ve been treated to some of my favorite remixes. First up is Monsiuer Adi, who memorably remixed “Starry Eyed” a few months back. He takes a more abstract approach completely dissecting and reordering the song all over a blistering futuristic sounding new backdrop. He turns the chorus into the star of the show, as it should be. Our second offering is the Tonka Radio Cut which is more of a straightforward approach to the remix, but it definitely has all that it takes to make this a great dance track.
