Koyote, the mashup and bootleg producer that never ceases to impress us, is ready to start 2013 with a bouncy release. Originally written and recorded by JJ Cale in 1976 and then later covered by English singer-songwriter Eric Clapton, “Cocaine” became one of most enduringly popular hits in its era.
Koyote has interwoven the original vocals and injected with a enough feel good spring-like bass that it is almost impossible to stay still. Plus the light hearted trumpets make it for a definite party track.
