UPDATE: You can now purchase the EPIC Remix EP on Beatport
If you haven’t heard of Blood on the Dance Floor yet, it’s probably time you take a look. These electronic popsters might scare you off at first glance, given their love for gore-porn, but they are turning heads across the country. Their dancy style of electronica is pop-driven in nature, and provides the perfect setting for a remix EP. Which is why you’re here right? Well we won’t make you wait any longer.
First up on the list of remixers is Denver resident James Egbert. James has been making a splash in the Colorado scene for a few years now, and we’re happy to bring another one of his tracks onto our blog. He brings his style of chopped up electro to “Party On”. His live sets makes crowds go crazy, so if you have a chance to see him, make sure you do. We caught him at the Wolfgang Gartner show in Boulder and he tore it down.

The second track is remixed by another Colorado producer CultureRock. While he’s relatively new to the game, his signature style is developing with what you hear in this remix of “Believe”.

Third is the remix of “Lose Control” is by Colorado fraternal duo Paris Burns. Within the first thirty seconds we knew we were going to dig this track. Hard buzzing electro beats and deep synths are the perfect compliment to BOTDF’s original vocals.

And finally we have another remix from James Egbert, only this time he’s partnered up with Denver progressive producer Ecotek. Ecotek, also known as Kostas K has been in the Denver Electronica scene for years, and has worked on tracks with some of the biggest names in progressive house music. Originally from Athens, he has played some of the biggest venues in the world, including the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison Colorado.
