Safe Return
The homies over at alaya just seem to keep putting out some serious fire these days. With a surge of collectives forming each and every day, we find ourselves diving head first into a sea of rising talent and alaya is a collective that we’ve been keeping a sharp eye on. One such artist that keeps us on our toes is Brisbane, Australia’s very own FEKI. This young producer continues to be a driving force in the music industry in which he creates some seriously clean beats full of eclectic elements, smooth transitions, and unique percussive patterns. Just recently, Feki released his latest wonder, “Safe Return” and took us to the land of sensual synths, vibe-enhanced melodies, and flawless drum patterns to which we haven’t quite returned from. Within this gem of a track are pitched samples from the well-known Mark Morrison track, “Return of the Mack”, that add the perfect touch to this smooth piece of production. We can’t wait to see what else FEKI and our friends over at alaya have in store for us in the future. If it’s anything like “Safe Return” we guarantee the world won’t be able to handle the future of music.
