In the last few years, Curren$y has proven one of the most prolific and consistent artists in hip-hop. Recently, the New Orleans Spitta has recruited and assembled a very dope crew on his Jet Life Recordings label (including Sir Michael Rocks and Smoke DZA). His most recent album, The Stoned Immaculate, serves as a coming up party of sorts with its wide array of features and notable production from the likes of Cardo, Big K.R.I.T. and Pharrell. I felt that, while some artists tend to give up some of their integrity to appeal to a wider audience, Curren$y continued to keep it 100% on his most recent effort.
