Planet Paradise (Prod. Louie Lastic)
We hope you’ll accept our late pass on this one, because this post is a few days overdue. After impressing us with multiple freestyles and remixes over the last few months, we finally have our first real taste of GoldLink‘s upcoming project, The God Complex.
“Planet Paradise” is a culmination of the sound the Virginia emcee has been developing through his last few releases. Showcasing a spastic, enigmatic flow that lies somewhere between Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, and Chance The Rapper, the young Squaaash Club representative spits dizzyingly eloquent bars over a mind numbing whirlwind of synths, organs and drums. Credit definitely goes to producer Louie Lastic for providing the perfect instrumental for the talented wordsmith to operate on. If this is what we have in store for us on The God Complex, we can barely wait to get our hands on it. April 1st can’t come soon enough.
