Menthol (Feat. Jean Deaux)
As the newest member of the TDE collective, Chattanooga native Isaiah Rashad is out to prove his merit, and show us exactly how he fits in with the West Coast crew. With these last two leaks from his new Cilvia Demo album, he accomplishes exactly that, displaying a mature flow over two gritty, piano-laden instrumentals. The first of these, “Menthol,” provides for a much smoother ride, complimented by the gentle vocals of Jean Deaux on the chorus. The simple black and white visuals for “Soliloquy” below are designed to keep focus on Rashad’s lyrical acumen, as he rolls through punchline after punchline with the confidence of a seasoned emcee.
