Gearing up for the April 20th release of his instumental album Synth or Soul, emcee Black Milk drops another two part mash-up track titled “Computer Ugly Ugly/ Why Worry”. Mixing synth sounds, raw beats, and vocal samples, the first part of this track is a trippy listen. Halfway through, he flips the song entirely into a soulful, throwback-esque instrumental part. The crossing of two genres and eras of music is a nice sample of the collaborations of Black Milk and Upendo “Pen” Taylor. Although the track is a solid instrumental, it would have been better to hear some bars from the underground rapper.
