Don Fuego’s journey starts with two friends who shared a passion for daring exploits, wild antics, and a love for spinning records. Meeting in middle school, Corey and Mahdi formed a connection that carried them from throwing high school parties in Virginia to dominating the après-ski scene in Colorado. Corey took a turn into the snowboarding world, while Mahdi explored songwriting. Their paths diverged but rejoined in 2020, blending their different influences into the distinctive vibe that is now Don Fuego.
Gaining traction hasn’t been without recognition. Their music has attracted attention from influential figures like Zeds Dead, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Diplo, leading to their tracks being signed to Smash Deep. They’ve also collaborated with artists such as ANDREWBATES and Justin Park. Live performances alongside ACRAZE, Walker & Royce, and others have marked them as a remarkable force on stage. Known as the “Dons of Apres-ski House,” their engaging approach sets them apart in the dance scene.
“Forza (Radio Edit)” drives Don Fuego’s singular sound further into the realm of melodic techno. The track is filled with chants from Inter Milan fans, which serve as both rhythm and rallying call. Its 128 bpm bassline keeps the momentum, ensuring it lands perfectly in peak club hours. “Forza” aims to both play inspire. With its anthemic power, the track feels like a demand for movement—a call to the dancefloor, captured in sound.
