Philadelphia native Andy States, who releases music under the moniker Cruiser, recently put out a self-titled EP this past May. Produced by Jeremy Park — who also happened to work on Youth Lagoon‘s widely-acclaimed The Year Of Hibernation — it includes six glistening indie pop gems, with melodies so sweet and addictive they’ll make your teeth hurt. One of the tracks, “Don’t Go Alone,” has especially been gaining some traction lately, which comes as no surprise given its undeniable, upbeat pep. Also included below is “Souvenir,” my personal favorite off the EP. Its Beach House-dreaminess and cute chorus make it a sure winner in my book.
