Following up the punk rock inspired tune “Go,” off of Meg Myer’s upcoming EP, this LA based indie songwriter has presented us with her introspective, softer side with “The Morning After.” One thing that we’ve always found impressive in Meg’s work is the ability to harness past experiences into her lyrics.
Displaying something truly personally moving, Meg has served up another tune displaying her dark side. Her softly-lyrics are heart wrenching, leaving us wondering what could have spawned these words to scrawl out on a piece of paper. Whatever it was, we’re appreciative of the emotional journey she’s shared.
This tune comes out on her upcoming EP, Make a Shadow, due out on the 11th of this month.
