Last year I saw Santah perform for the first time at one of Paste Magazine‘s CMJ shows and was pretty blown away by their set. As I mentioned in a review that I wrote, the five-piece had such a hearty rusticity that I could’ve sworn their music was inspired by some kind of southern roots, especially as they immediately made me think of The Love Langage. Though they’re actually from Chicago, the charm is still 100% sincere and 100% irresistible. Their latest single “Indigo” gives listeners more than enough to hold onto, from its natural gruffness and sonorous organs to the warm vocals of siblings Stanton and Vivian McConnell. Download it below!
“Indigo” is off Santah’s upcoming EP, You’re Still A Lover, out October 16th.
