French trio We Were Evergreen have a genre-shifting attitude to music, with their back catalogue encompassing C86, electronica and lounge. ‘Second Hand’ however, is firmly rooted in indie-pop territory, with cutesy vocals and upbeat melodies masking witty lyrics. ‘Second Hand’ is the B-side to ‘Baby Blue’ (and when the B-side’s this good, you know you’ve gotta hear the A-side), out June 4.
