Actress Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine, Dawson’s Creek) stars in the latest music video for “Paradise” by dreamy shoegaze band Wild Nothing. Directed by Matthew Amato, it was filmed in Niagara Falls and Los Angeles and, according to a press release, “chronicles “travel by plane and the paradise found just beyond the window”. It also features a special edit of the song that includes a voiceover of Williams reading an excerpt from A Word Child, a ’70s novel by Iris Murdoch.
“Paradise” is off Wild Nothing’s sophomore album Nocturne, which is out now via Captured Tracks.
