Elusive Manchester buzz band World Unite/Lucifer Youth Foundation or WU LYF to their friends are set to release their eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Go Tell Fire To The Mountain‘ on June 13th.
Introducing their self released album WU LYF have just set off on a worldwide tour and have been dropping video previews including the above frenzied video for ‘Dirt’, filmed predominantly at the London student tuition fee protests and ensuing riots.
Rasping yet soulful vocals from Ellery Roberts howl almost incomprehensibly like an anarchist call to arms over the mysterious, dark organ lines and tribal rock drums. Judging from the few tracks we’ve heard so far from the English quartet this is going to be a raw and exciting debut; thankfully we aren’t going to have to wait too much longer to hear it …
So go tell fire
