London’s Shift K3y delivered his Off The Record EP recently to his Soundcloud and iTunes, where you can buy the project. With just two tracks he shows his crossover talents that pull from a wide array of genres. THe first track, “2 Doors,” is a smooth future/R&B track that has some insane radio potential. Although the sound is a little poppy, it has its own identity, making it a strong record, especially as the first of a massive one-two punch. With the second track, “Crying In My Sleep,” Shift K3y enlists Andrea Martin for an upbeat housey track. Deep qualities mixed with disco and pop make this the ninja favorite out of the two, however, that doesn’t take anything away from the amazing first track.
