Young the Giant, upcoming indie band from Orange County California have a long way to go before reaching SXSW, just one of the many destinations as they embark in their US tour. Their self-titled album released late October of 2010 contains a perfect balance between electronic pop/rock melodies and an a rich organic instrumentation. From singing incredible rock anthems to whimsical and softy worded lyrics, Sameer Gadhia is able to capture the bands energy through his genuine singing. A couple of days ago they gave us an incredible surprise covering the much popular song ‘Rolling in the deep” by Adele. With many covers of this song out there (including Mike Posner’s as one of our favorites) this version adds so much more emotion and intensity to an already amazing song.
