Remember that stunning voice that tickled your eardrums in Deadmau5’s “Raise Your Weapon”? Well she is Scandinavian singer Greta Svabo Bech. She and Zeds Dead met and realized they were both huge fans of one another and so, they planned to work together. Greta sent ZD this song and the guys knew immediately this was what they would collab on. “Shut Up & Sing’ is about feeling trapped in a situation and finally working up the courage to do something about it, even if you don’t know what you’re gonna do,” Greta explains. “Zeds Dead’s version of the song really hits this message home. The energy, the melodies – it’s powerful.
