Jealous (I Ain't With It) (The Chainsmokers Remix)
After successfully creating what might be the fastest growing selfie movement since the highly infectious Harlem Shake, The Chainsmokers are undeniably contaminating us all with a heavy dose of feel good music. Not too long ago, Alex Pall and Drew Taggart released their remix of Chromeo’s song, “Jealous (I Ain’t With It)” and have already given us a reason to jive the day away. For a brief moment, it felt as if the two were starting to stray away from the emotive side of production and more into the realm of the #SELFIE limelight. Luckily, this Chromeo remix proves that The Chainsmokers are not just in it for their 15 minutes of fame.
Whenever Chromeo is introduced into the picture, it is almost inevitable that we will encounter a new kind of soulful funk to groove to. The Chainsmokers, however, decided to approach this remix at a different angle of production in which they took the original upbeat tempo and transformed it into a harmonious house anthem that will instantly become the next big crowd pleaser.
With a dramatic piano intro to set the mood, the song effortlessly transitions from a smooth, slow build into a melodic blend of heavy kicks, soulful synths, and a stellar bpm to get everyone out on the dance floor.
The Chainsmokers are currently on their #SELFIE tour and have been taking dance music to levels that not even Avicii can reach. Be sure to stay up to date with their music and tour and check out where they’ll be playing next – just make sure to take as many selfies as you can in the mean-time!
