Riva Starr, the eclectic London DJ/Producer, whose won over loyal fans in the likes of Annie Mac, Gilles Peterson, Swedish House Mafia, is starting the year strong with his latest single “Absence”. The softly and opaque original not only demonstrates his ability to compose intricate sounds full of surrealism and esoteric elements but also illustrates his maturity as a producer since his first introduction to the UK underground house scene in 2009.
The effortlessly charming single is accompanied by its official music video, drawing from European experimental cinema and theatre and creepy scenes that feel taken out of a David Lynch film.
‘Absence’ is the first track from his forthcoming sophomore album ‘Hands In Hands’ being released 7th March.
