Indie darlings The Kills are known for their devil-may-care blues-rock sound, and their take on the legendary Velvet Underground’s ‘Pale Blue Eyes’ is a sterling example. With Alison Mosshart’s lazy and very sexy vocal drawling out over the ragged slow guitar, ‘Pale Blue Eyes’ has been covered to great effect, creating a track that just begs to be played live.
