The best covers are usually the ones that no one expects. Surely, pequeño Wayne has brought inspiration to many but I would have never pictured the beloved American indie duo School of Seven Bells, responsible for an eclectic array of soft pop tunes, to cover such a song. Yet after first listen, it comes at no surprise. Lil Wayne’s “How to Love”, released as the third single from his ninth studio album, Tha Carter IV is turned completely upside its head surrounded by a richer instrumentation of elongated notes with Alejandra Deheza beautiful voice piercing through. “How To Love” was a 2011 classic and School of Seven Bells delicately updated it for modern consumption.
