London born singer/songwriter Joel Compass has a set of golden pipes on him that no one can deny. His impressive combination of undeniable talent and overwhelming commercial appeal will have ladies fawning left and right. Admittedly so, we’ll be right along side those ladies, especially after hearing his newly released EP, “Astronaut.”
The title track on this EP, which we’re featuring today, is a delectable electronically based RnB tune that accentuates Joel’s gorgeous falsetto capabilities. It’s deliciously bass heavy, making for a perfect track to indulge in all night long. Aside from the sultry stunner that is the original, we also have a few choice remixes for you as well.
Most recently (12 days ago), Henry Krinkle dialed “Astronaut” back a few notches to create an even more seductive version of the original. The pleasantly painful drawn out build provides adequate anticipation for the drop of low hitting bass tones and heavily treated samples from Compass,
Our other favorite in the bunch is Gorgon City’s lounge style house interpretation that features an added melody progression, and playful bass line that would be perfectly suited for a dance floor or the runway.
