Rocka (Original Mix)
Here’s the good news – it’s Friday. We’re only hours away from a two-day taste of sweet, unadulterated freedom. Here’s the bad news – this Sylent Efx tune will definitely fire up the unshakable, primal need to get out there and cut loose, and you still have a few hours before you can do so. With that being said, we’ve now done our due diligence in warning you of the unavoidable side effects of “Rocka.” It’s up to you on whether or not you press play.
Ok, you’ve pressed play, as we assumed you would. What you’re experiencing now is a funky tech house original from this up-and-coming Denver youngster. Dropping today as a part of Night Supply’s Team Work EP, “Rocka” boasts plenty of head-bobbing low-end bass, which is accompanied by splashy hi-hats, an iconic repeating sample, and minimalistic drops. The collective result of those elements provides listeners with an enveloping ride throughout, as well as the insatiable need to dance.
If you’ve frequented TMN through the years, you’ll know that we’re not only massive fans of Sylent Efx, but the whole Night Supply crew as well. We have the pleasure of occasionally running through the Mile High with this crazy bunch of misfits, which often gives way to late nights and rough mornings. If you’d like to get a glimpse into their world, take a peek at their promo video below.
