There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind – Tep No has been on an absolute tear since his or her first release, back in May of last year. This Torontonian has had a wilder ride than Mayor Rob Ford, figuratively speaking, of course. He or she has had tracks rack up hundreds of thousands of play, picked up support from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, and also seen some significant love on Spotify as well. But, who is this mystery neighbor to the north?
Well, while we’d love to tell you, that’s not what this post is about. This post is all about “No Pacing,” which is Co-Premiering here on TMN today. Let’s put it simply – this tune is pure, sweet, summery bliss. It’s calming, casually transporting you to a whole different state of mind, and it does so on the back of smooth guitar work, lazily drifting vocals, and whirling atmospheric elements.
