The Space We Haunt
Whatever you did this weekend, we’re pretty sure you need some calming tunes to bring you into the reality that is another work week. While we already published a hearty Chill Dojo for you this morning, we realize you need a full eight hours of chill music help soften the blow. Luckily for you, we have this delightfully dreary premiere of “The Space We Haunt” to throw into the mix.
Surprisingly coming out of Phoenix, Arizona, this three-piece outfit has a sound perfect for drizzly Pacific Northwest days. Comprised of Keith Walker, Brett Davis, and Braden McCall, The Holy Coast are unsigned at the moment, but with their dreamy shoegaze style soundscapes, it won’t be long before people take notice. Creating a lackadaisical journey crafted through a heavily treated vocals, a simplistic guitar riff, and some spacey synths, “The Space We Haunt” has the perfect collection of elements to slowly slip away from what you’re thinking about, if only for a few minutes.
You can find this song and more on their self-titled EP, which is due out tomorrow on Common Wall Media.
