Over the last few months, we’ve watched the rise of California’s TRAIL AND WAYS, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the evolution of their dreamy, intricate indie rock. Continuing on with their push of new material, today they unveiled the “Border Crosser” remix by The Seshen, a 7-piece electro pop band from the Bay Area. (If you’ll remember, the original, released in October, is a stirring, personal track about immigration.) The rework retains the original’s best aspects — and even emphasizes its magic & intensity — but it also adds a handful of shiny, danceable moments. Check it out below!
“Border Crosser” is the lead single off TRAILS AND WAYS’s forthcoming debut Trilingual. The remix is off the band’s Remix EP due out January 8th.
