Hey Soul Sister (SMLE Remix)
Here at TMN, we are passionate about sharing the music that brings our ears happiness with our viewers. Just the same, we are devoted to exposing those shrouded artists with unforeseen music that is just waiting to be heard. These hidden treasures are what always seem to quench our music thirst.
As of recent SMLE made their way onto the music map, and you better believe we didn’t fail to notice. After catching our attention with their cover of Michael Buble’s rendition of Nina Simone’s original “Feeling Good,” we have kept our eyes glued for new releases.
As music bloggers, we are lucky enough to be able to watch artists develop in both their success and their sound. From a more personal point-of-view, and having been introduced to SMLE’s work since day uno, this brand new release of theirs is quite a treat for myself as it captures their growth. Taking on Train’s pop hit, “Hey Soul Sister,” SMLE feeds your ears illuminating melodies from start to end.
As you may remember from TMN’s previous coverage of SMLE, the guys like to incorporate live instrumentals into their productions. Throughout the remix you’ll notice colorful guitar lines in addition to the glittering synths that pulls the whole piece together to become something that is truly one of its own kind.
