Van She’s recently released “Idea of Happiness” is a gorgeous summer indietronica tune that will light up the next few months. With the already provided wavering synths, and the beautifully treated vocals, we pretty much could guarantee that remixes would follow.
Herve has stepped up to the challenge and delivered something equally as impressive. With a housey BPM, he’s extracted the vocals, expertly sampled sections of the original, and turned this summer indie tune into a summer club anthem. The first section of the track maintains the original sound to the point where dancers will recognize the track immediately. Though, Herve’s true form shows with the wobbly, bouncy bassline that will insight the aforementioned dancers to start going crazy on the dance floor. The bassline are similar to what we would expect from someone like Jack Beats, which gives more meaning to Herve’s discovery of the DJ/producer duo, with his label, Cheap Thrills.
