Apparat has been creating an enourmous amount of hype for his brand new album releasing this September. And deservingly so, The Devil’s Walk EP is full of beautiful electronica that is inherently organic and genuine. His first single “Ash/Black Veil” blew us away with its dynamic journey of slow progressive rhythms that combined with a number of crescendos lifted the track and made it fly.
A couple of weeks ago, Apparat released “Black Water”, having a much more cinematic feel than his first single, with smooth pulsating electronica and vocals that appear to come from dreams. Ambient electronica has always been a very niche genre and yet Apparat is able to infuse full bodied instrumentation, giving his music much more substance.
