Manchester born Allister and Marc Sean, better known as the EC Twins, have been dropping energetic vocal house gems left and right lately. Not too long ago we featured the video for their warm weather hit, “Hot Summer Nights.” Now we’re left bracing ourselves for the colder months, yet we’re keeping nice and toasty thanks to, “Set the World on Fire.”
Joined up by Chicagoan producer/DJ Kalendr, and lead by inspiring vocals from Koko Laroo, this melodic house monster gives us what we want to hear in something from this genre. The well crafted lyrics from songwriter Koko Laroo are ones you can picture belting out in your car, caring less if the car next to you thinks you’re out of your mind. Coupled with the four to the floor beats is a gorgeous melody that’s energetic and uplifting.
Once again the twins have teamed up with Colorado based film makers BLURRED Pictures, who have put an entertaining Thelma and Louise-esque spin on this tune. Give it a go and see for yourself.
