Twisted
Another fresh face to burst out of a rapidly burgeoning Australian independent scene, artist Mark Zito recognized as //Fractures, has already begun to bear the fruits of his labor, receiving loads of critical praise in the last few months without even playing a headlining spot on a concert bill (His first headline show is set for June 20th). Another multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, //Fractures takes a very “hands-on” approach, producing music from top to bottom in the same vain as SBTRKT and James Blake and in the span of only a few months has seemed to have evolved light years ahead of schedule – no doubt due to an insane array of musical capabilities. From the humble confines of a bedroom studio pet recording project, to now delivering some of the most progressive electronic music on his side of the World, //Fractures has already witnessed down-tempo debut single “Twisted” log over 80,000 plays on Soundcloud as well as earning a coveted ‘Top-5’ spot on the Hype Machine. This weekend, the official music video for “Twisted” was given to us, and we were thinking that it would be a nice Monday Morning treat for our Ninja collective to consume.
