Ladies and gentlemen, please let me introduce you to 21 year old Los Angeles producer, MacKenzie Johnson. MAKJ, as he is better known in the Electronic scene, just recently dropped a bumpin’ bootleg package in celebration of his 21st birthday.

Though nearly every track is fump-worthy (‘first’ & ‘pump’..), ‘Black Lowrider’ emerges as the package victor; a masterfully crafted mash up between WAR’s 70s classic, ‘Low Rider’, and (slightly more recent) a remix of Felix Cartel’s ‘Black to White’ by Clockwork. WAR’s iconic vocals over Clockwork’s banging beats surprisingly work together in a near flawless manner, especially towards the peak of the foreboding buildup. By the beard of Zeus – that buildup..

The entire package is up for free download on MAKJ’s Facebook – please show the man some love by simply giving his page a ‘Like’.
