Almost two years ago, Omar LynX and Zeds Dead joined their respective genres together to create one cohesive mashup between the aggressive dubstep bass filtered wobbles of Dubstep, and the attitude driven verses of hip/hop. The result was a hybrid track titled “Out for Blood”. Through many other collaborations, the Toronto duo has stayed close, planning the next track. Today, “The Living Dead” rises in a dramatic and morbid fashion. While it still features many elements of what gives this collab synergy, the new single is much darker and technical than its predecessors leaving little room for Omar’s verses to come through. The dubstep alone still packs a punch with Zeds Dead confident style, long teasing build ups and strong enough drop for satisfaction.
