[NEW] Big Sean – Blessings (Feat. Drake & Kanye West)

Big Sean
Blessings ft. Drake & Kanye West

Days after announcing his upcoming third studio album, Dark Sky Paradise, Big Sean has decided to share the second single from the project, this time receiving some “Blessings” from longtime buddy Drake. If the project name wasn’t already a dead giveaway, it seems as if Sean is aiming for a much more ominous direction with this upcoming release, which could serve as a foil to his mentor Kanye, who seems to be headed in the opposite direction these days. Regardless, Sean Don always makes for a fun listen, and whether you love him or hate him, chances are you won’t be able to avoid him once the project drops on February 24th.

UPDATE: Kanye West added to the official version of the single.

[NEW] RL Grime – Kingpin (feat. Big Sean)

Kingpin (feat. Big Sean)
RL Grime

RL Grime‘s highly anticipated debut album, Void, is out next week and, if the releases thus far are any indication, it is looking like a massive project. Today, we get the Big Sean-featuring “Kingpin,” yet another strong release that stands in contrast with the laid-back “Remember” and festival bangers “Scylla” and “Core.”  RL Grime’s production style shines on this one with trapped-out production accompanied by a swooning hindi vocal sample–the perfect backdrop for Big Sean’s punchline heavy lyricism. This is the type of song perfect to slap in the car at high volume, preferably in a residential neighborhood. Void drops November 17th and can be pre-ordered here.

[NEW] Eminem – Detroit Vs. Everybody (Feat. Royce Da 5’9″, Big Sean, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf & Trick Trick) (Prod. Statik Selektah)

Eminem, Royce, Big Sean, Danny Brown
Detroit Vs Everybody Shade 45 Rip (prod. by Statik Selektah)

In a major move that almost nobody saw coming, Eminem assembles a few of Detroit’s finest to form a monster collaboration that pits the city’s top dogs against the rest of the rap game. This is a team up that fans have been pining after for awhile, and it’s great to see all of these Motor City natives assembled together under one roof. Featuring some heavy hitters like Royce Da 5’9″, Big Sean, Danny Brown and Dej Loaf, this absolute banger finds each emcee in top form as they trade indelible bars over a stadium worthy Statik Selektah instrumental. We won’t make a judgment on who murdered their verse the hardest, but it’s definitely closer than you might expect.

It’s only appropriate that the track would be featured on Marshall’s upcoming Shady XV compilation project, dropping later this month on November 24th. Those interested in copping this single before that date can pre-order the project on iTunes now. And if you haven’t had enough Eminem, check out the “SHADY CXVPHER” he released earlier today that features Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf, after the jump.

[TMN Premiere] Big Sean – IDFWU (CRVFTSMEN REMIX)

IDFWU (CRVFTSMEN REMIX)
Big Sean

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve posted anything remotely similar to this 808 trap, but this new joint by CRVFTSMEN was far too good to pass up. This Boston-based trio has been making some of the best hip-hop remixes out there for quite some time, however they flew onto everyone’s radar in a hurry with this new Big Sean cut. CRVFTSMEN make their TMN debut today with IDFWU, their latest and greatest remix that is just bursting at the seams with energy. It’s still widely debated in some circles how to properly dance to trap, but I can tell you certainly won’t care when this drops at a club as you hurdle your way to the dancefloor.

[Hip-Hop] Big Sean – Paradise + I Don’t Fuck With You (Feat. E-40) + Jit/Juke + 4th Quarter

It’s been a minute since we last heard any solo material from Big Sean, but the Detroit spitter has returned in a big way today (no pun intended). In honor of his recent signing to Roc Nation and the release of his own signature pair of Adidas shoes, Sean Don decided to share four brand new songs to celebrate his hustle. These aren’t exactly your average fare either, as the tracks feature production from an eclectic group that includes Mike WiLL Made ItKanye West, DJ Mustard, DJ Dahi, Key Wane, Nate Fox, Da Internz and L&F.

Sean is all over the map in this collection, as he draws influence from a number of various styles of hip-hop. From the far more serious “Paradise” and “4th Quarter” to the more playful “Jit/Juke” and “I Don’t Fuck With You,” the talented rapper stays steady with the punchlines, dropping plenty of quotables and keying us into some of the recent happenings of his life, namely the rumors surrounding his relationship with Ariana Grande.

Nod your head to the tracks below, and make sure to be on the lookout for any upcoming album announcements from the G.O.O.D. Music representative.

[Hip-Hop] Travi$ Scott – Don’t Play (Feat. Big Sean & The 1975)

Travi$ Scott Ft. Big Sean + The 1975
Don't Play

After he first unveiled the song nearly 2 months ago during a live performance at SXSW, fans have been chomping at the bit to get their hands on Travi$ Scott‘s latest single. With a radio rip surfacing a few weeks back under the mistaken title of “1975,” we knew it was only a matter of time before we would finally be able to hear the final version of the track in all its glory.

Although we have to settle for the clean version for now, it’s still abundantly clear that Big Sean and La Flame are not playing around with this one. Travi$’ rapid ascent over the last year has definitely made for one of the more remarkable stories to follow in hip-hop (as chronicled in his recent Houston To Osaka documentary). It’s astonishing just how quickly the young spitter has been able to step out from the shadows of his fellow G.O.O.D. Music/Grand Hustle associates, and establish his own brand. With his debut album Rodeo slated for release later this year, we’re pretty confident the Houston native has a few more heaters just like this stashed away for the summer.

UPDATE: Added the official explicit CDQ version of the track, now with a credited feature from The 1975.

[Hip-Hop] Logic – Alright (Feat. Big Sean)

Logic Ft. Big Sean
Alright (Prod. By Tae Beast)

While Logic has amassed a pretty large following over the last few years, he still hasn’t had that breakthrough hit to propel himself into the mainstream conversation just yet. However, this new single with Big Sean could finally be just the push that he needs. “Alright” is way more than just that, as the Def Jam signee spits a few mind numbing verses alongside the poised G.O.O.D. Music representative. The two emcees have somewhat contrasting styles, yet both sound comfortable over the mellow Tae Beast produced instrumental. With his EP While You Wait on the horizon, it seems only a matter of time before the Maryland native becomes a household name. Stream the single above, and stay tuned for more from the talented lyricist as we head towards summer.
