Dubstep often gets a bad rep, especially in songs when the bass lines can become overwhelming. When done right though, dubstep can provide new layers to music that haven’t been explored before. Take for example this new single from Singularity, where the drop further adds to the emotional desperation in Nilu‘s glorious vocals. With Horizon, Singularity is able to find that elusive balance and provide us with a track that is both substantial and soothing at the same time. “Horizon” is Singularity’s first single off of his EP of the same name, due later this year.
